Why a duck

Most speaking apps put a person on the page — a coach in a blazer, a smiling avatar, somebody else's mouth. We wanted the opposite. A duck has no advice. A duck does not judge your pace. A duck stands in a pond and says one thing, clearly, when it wants to.

His name is Lou — short for out loud. He is the size of a footnote and lives in the corners of the page. When the room feels quiet, he is there. When you have something to say, he is listening. He will not appear in your practice session, because the practice is yours.

It's your voice. Use it. Find it. Lou will be over there, if you need him.

Take the rep.
