Help Lou find his way home.
Lou is a brave little duck, somewhere between Reykjavik and home. He collects souvenirs, writes long postcards, and relies on one person to help him navigate — you.
Reykjavik, Iceland
Souvenir unlocked: Viking helmet (tiny)
A kind duck on a very long trip.
Lou left Home Pond in early March with a small suitcase, a field notebook, and an ambitious itinerary. He is not the most experienced traveler. He gets a little flustered in busy airports and occasionally tries to buy souvenirs he cannot actually carry.
But Lou is brave in the ways that matter. He says hello to strangers. He tries the local food. He writes postcards — long ones, with very small handwriting — back to the one person who always writes back: you.
Each destination unlocks a new chapter. Each practice session hides a story clue. The atlas fills in as Lou travels, and somewhere in those pages is the path that leads him home.
"Stop 7 — Cairo. I got a little lost near the market. A very kind vendor showed me the way. I gave him a drawing of a duck. He seemed pleased."
— Lou's field notebook, pg. 43

Practice unlocks clues
Hidden story fragments are tucked inside practice sessions. Some appear only in certain modes. Keep exploring.
Stamps are earned
Passport stamps mark stops Lou has completed. They cannot be bought or skipped — only earned by showing up.
The atlas fills in
As Lou travels, blank atlas pages fill in: town sketches, local phrases, weather notes. A real scrapbook that grows with you.
Hubs, camps, and the road between.
Each stop has more than one place to visit. Lou doesn't just pass through — he settles in, meets the locals, and takes notes.
Town Hubs
The social heart of each destination. Lou finds the market, the plaza, the harbor. Characters he meets here carry pieces of the story.
Camp & Farm Zones
Calm rest zones between busy stops. No pressure to perform here — just quiet exploration, ambient sounds, and Lou taking a long nap under a tree.
Who you'll meet along the way.
Lou doesn't travel alone. Each stop brings new companions, and one very important cast member travels with him from the very start.
Lou
A kind, slightly nervous-but-brave duck who sets off on a big journey. Loves collecting small things and writing very long postcards.
The Friend
Lou's oldest, most trusted companion. Your voice is how Lou finds his next step.
The Locals
A rotating cast of guides, shopkeepers, and fellow travelers Lou meets at each destination. Each teaches something new.
The Atlas
Not just a map — a scrapbook that fills in as Lou travels. Pages unlock with practice. Some clues only appear if you look closely.
"I have collected eleven souvenirs and nearly run out of notebook pages. I believe home is close. I can almost smell the pond."
— Lou's field notebook, pg. 118
